Providing emergency medical care to the citizens of the
Palm Beach
county area, as a teenaged member of a voluntary ambulance service was
Frank Denoff's first step to becoming an orthopaedic surgeon. Possessing
the ability to lend a helping hand to those in need combined with the
fact that no two days were the same, proved to be very appealing.
After developing a close relationship with the
emergency room staffs, Dr. Denoff continued caring for people as
an emergency room technician in West Palm Beach
during his vacations from the University of Florida,
where he was majoring in chemistry and biology. While working in the ER
and being introduced to all fields of medicine, he immediately embraced
orthopaedics. The combination of biomechanics, sports-related
injuries and the rapid restoration of a patient's quality of life were
very exciting.
After completing his undergraduate studies at
the University
of Florida, Dr.
Denoff attended the University of Miami School of Medicine for both
medical school and residency. Having completed his training in 1988, he
went into solo practice before joining Florida Orthopaedic Associates in
1998. Besides his "gator flag", he brought a special interest in
orthopaedic trauma and fracture treatment to the group.
Dr. Denoff enjoys the warm, small-town atmosphere of the DeLand-Orange City area, while still being
conveniently located to larger cities and the beaches.
