Stetson Honors Dr. Hollmann for 30 Years of Service

Stetson University honored Dr. Mark Hollmann, orthopaedic surgeon at Florida Orthopaedic Associates, for his 30 years of service as the head team physician for Stetson Athletics during a recent home basketball game.

“From the moment, 30 years ago, when Dr. Mark Hollmann, a former Division I College Athlete, moved to DeLand, he has been a leader with the Stetson sports medicine division, and a terrific teammate for Stetson University,” commented Director of Athletics Jeff Altier.

“As an accomplished athlete he knows what it is like to have the burning desire to compete, and as a physician he has the knowledge, and the surgical skills needed to get the Stetson student-athletes back into the game as quickly as safely possible. Stetson has been very fortunate to have Dr. Hollman as a mainstay of the Athletic department for 30 years”
